Secret place is a place of His concealment in all things, where God reveals heavenly secrets to people.
The term "secret place" come from the Hebrew word "Cather" which mean to hide or be concealed. Shelter, covering, or a dwelling place are other names for secret place.
One who abides in the secret place of God dwells in a ascended place of rest, lifted up above principalities and powers. It is a place of protection from trouble, where God surround you with deliverance (Psalm 32:7) .
WHAT TO DO TO ENTER SECRET PLACE AS A CHRISTIAN.
You can gain access to Almighty God"s secret place through a life of holiness, praise , Thanksgiving and prayer of faith.( Psalm 100:3-4, Jeremiah 33:3). As a Christian you must walk away from the clamour and enticement of the world (1John. 2:15) . To connect with God, we must avoid distraction . We cannot join God in His secret place unless you are willing to be transparent and honest with God and Human, You must not dwell with the ungodly (Psalm 1:1, 2Corinthian 6:17). A consecrated and sanctified life is a prerequisite to gaining direct access into God's secret place (Leviticus 20:7; Psalm 24:3-4)
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF BEING IN GOD'S SECRET PLACE ?
1. When are in God's secret place, you will surely enjoyed divine authority and attention (1kings17:1).
2. There will be a closer fellowship with God (James 4:8).
3. There will be divine protection and deliverance.
4. Living a holy life will become possible ( Isaiah 6:1-5).
5. The fruit of the Spirit will take root and grow in you (Galatians 5:22).
6. Self assessment of your faith will be enhanced (2Corinthians).
Remember, God wants you to dwell in His secret place , just not to visit. In God's secret place, no evil can come near you.
